An included reference is a starting point
The freestyle template supplies a fixed performance reference, so you do not need to record a dance. Check its preview and availability in Choose your motion.
Bring a performance of your own
Select Your own motion and upload an authorized performance video. Choose footage with one clear subject and readable movement. Its duration participates in the quote, so use a reference that fits the motion you actually want.
Use the upload field under Your own motion, then check the reference preview before generating.
Audio follows the selected workflow
For a ready template with a soundtrack, the studio combines the template audio with the generated video. Custom Seedance motion is silent. Other model details and template availability should be checked in the studio before you generate.
A soundtrack being present is not a music license. If you publish a clip or add a new track in an editor, check that you have the relevant rights.
Choose the format for your final edit
Use the available aspect ratio that fits your intended composition. Preview the complete exported file before posting, including the beginning and end of the soundtrack. AI movement and framing can vary from the reference.
